In order for your application to be considered, you MUST pay the fee up front before your team is accepted. Once your chapter president has approved of your application you will be sent the link to payment. If the deposit is not sent by 8/10/2008 5:00pm, your team's application will not be considered and the next team on the waiting list will get your spot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All chapters submitting an application agree to the requirements of the league and acknowledge the responsibilities that are expected of the coaches and players. Do NOT partially fill out an application and expect to update it later. Please collect all necessary information before submission, as incorrect contact information will result in rejection of application. A follow-up email will be sent to the chapter President to confirm knowledge and support of the golf team. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Consideration of being permitted to apply for entry in the Capital Alumni Network ("CAN") 2008 Golf Tournament ("Tournament"), the Undersigned, on behalf of him/herself, the alumni association that s/he represents, and the greater Washington, D.C. chapter thereunder (the "Applicant") states that Applicant acknowledges and understands that completion/and or submission of this application and/or the required application fee does not guarantee a team's entry into the Tournament. The Applicant further acknowledges and understands that the Tournament is comprised of teams selected by the CAN Board of Directors, Executive Committee and/or Sports Committee at their sole and absolute discretion on such standards, terms and conditions as they deem appropriate for the good and welfare of the Tournament, and that each team's application for participation in the Tournament may be approved or disapproved with or without cause, except that CAN shall not make decisions based on a team's race, gender, color, religion, national origin, political affiliation, disability, or sexual orientation. The Applicant further acknowledges and understands that the Tournament is organized and maintained by individuals serving in a volunteer capacity. The Applicant further acknowledges that administration of the Tournament is subject to the oversight of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and/or Sports Committee, and that individuals and teams participating the in Tournament are subject to rules enforced by the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and/or Sports Committee, such rules which may be amended from time to time by the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and/or Sports Committee, at their sole and absolute discretion (the "Rules"). The Applicant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and agrees not to sue CAN, its Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Sports Committee, representatives, employees, agents, and/or assigns for in relation to the approval or disapproval of this Application for entry into the Tournament, and/or the application and enforcement of the Tournament Rules.
