IV. Organizational Status Report
a. 100-Day Plan. The Executive Committee is working on a 100-day plan that will serve as the framework for internal deadlines and tasks to help with the transition process and implementation of priority tasks moving forward. Currently this 100-day plan includes revisions to the bylaws; reviewing and assessing the financials; posting and filling vacant Committee Chair positions; and developing a strategic plan. Since this is still a work in progress there is no set deadline, but the Executive Committee is working together to quickly prioritize and set a date
i. By-Laws. Mark has started proposing revisions to the Executive Committee. Nothing is set in stone and once he has received more feedback from the EC, and they have had a chance to discuss and agree upon the suggestions, they will be shared with the AC for additional feedback. The EC will have the final say and vote, but would very much like to hear what others think. Within the next
month or so, two working group sessions will be set to allow the EC to meet with the AC to discuss the proposed revisions and receive their feedback.
ii. Financials. Aaron has paid the taxes and the insurance, and is keeping current with all bills thus CAN is currently financially solvent
b. Advisory Council. The newly elected Representatives will be meeting with AJ, AC Chair, in the coming week to further discuss their strategy in moving forward to ensure the AC serves as a viable option and agent of change to all. Additionally, they will discuss how to ensure that, per previous discussions with the AC, all AC members serve on one of the committees.
