This August marks the 15th annual Capital Alumni Network (CAN) Softball Tournament.  From its beginnings in 1996 as a small group of alumni gathering on the National Mall to celebrate the end of the softball season, our softball tournament has grown into a 69 team, double-elimination event, held over two weekends on the grounds of NASA Goddard in Greenbelt, Maryland.  This year's tournament will again be held at NASA Goddard on August 6th-7th and 13th.  We anticipate that there will be over 1,700 participants and guests in attendance, the overwhelming majority of whom fall within the prime demographic age range of 25 to 40.  To that end, we believe that this event provides potential sponsors with a great opportunity to increase their visibility in the community, while also supporting a worthwhile organization.
